Who sends these messages

receptionists.io is an AI receptionist used by small businesses — clinics, salons, home-service companies and similar. It answers their phone calls and books appointments. Text messages are sent on behalf of the business you called, from that business's own phone number, and identify that business by name.

The platform is operated by SOCIETE LUMEN DIGITAL ENTREPRISE, Registre National des Entreprises (Tunisia) No. 1845102J.

What we send

Appointment confirmations — after a booking is made during your call.
Appointment reminders — ahead of a scheduled appointment.
Replies to your messages — text the business back and the assistant answers, and can reschedule or cancel for you.
Occasional follow-ups — to people who contacted the business by phone, where there is a reason to follow up.

How consent is obtained

Consent is given verbally, during a phone call. When you call a business that uses receptionists.io, you speak with its receptionist, provide your mobile number, and agree to receive messages about your appointment. That consent is recorded against the call.

We do not message people who have not contacted the business first, and we do not buy, rent or import marketing lists.

Frequency and rates

Message frequency varies with your appointment activity. A typical booking produces one confirmation and one reminder. Message and data rates may apply — those charges are set by your mobile carrier, not by the business.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation and then no further messages from that business. STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT are all honoured.

Reply HELP for assistance, or call the business back on the number that messaged you.

Your mobile number

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. It is shared only with the telecommunications providers needed to deliver the message, and with the business you contacted. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data generally.
